Rachael
is the Principal Solicitor of Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Womens
Legal Centre, she has been working at Wirringa Baiya since August
1997. Prior to working at the Centre she worked at the community
legal centre in Dubbo as the Women’s Outreach Solicitor.
In
her role at the Centre she provides legal advice on the telephone
and face-to-face, and takes on casework where possible. In conjunction
with the coordinator, she also provides community legal education
across New South Wales, and writes submissions to various government
departments on matters of policy that affect Aboriginal women
and children.
